Leisure Day OR Garni and Geghard Tour
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, after which you will have the choice of opting for the Garni and Geghard Tour or having the day free for leisure (at your own arrangement).
Garni and Geghard (Optional Tour)
After breakfast, proceed for the Garni and Geghard tour. Your first stop will be Garni Monastery - Mentions about Garni Monastery date back to the first century and it was originally the main symbol of idolatrous Armenia. Today it is a Christian church. The idea of building Garni belonged to King Tacitus. For centuries, this temple served as a signal tower, significant for defense, protecting Armenia from its enemies. Garni Monastery has its own way to the Azat river, which has been significant since ancient times.
After visiting Garni, we continue on to Geghard Monastery. Located in the mountains, Geghard Monastery is a rock-cut temple dating back to the 4th century. A stream runs amidst the monastery that originates from one of the rocks, due to this Geghard is often called the Rock Temple by the Armenians. The Monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is also one of the most visited places in modern Armenia.
After your visit to some of the most iconic symbols of ancient Armenia, transfer to Yerevan for overnight stay at the hotel.

Lake Sevan Tour & Tsaghkadzor
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, after which you check-out and proceed to Tsaghkadzor. On the way to Tsaghkadzor, we stop for a Tour of Lake Sevan - the largest water body in the Caucasus region. The lake lies north of the capital of Armenia, at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level. It is one of the most beloved places of the Armenian population, and is also a hotspot for foreign visitors. Next, we stop by Sevanavank - an ancient 8th-century Armenian temple located on the Sevan peninsula surrounding the lake. The Ascetic life of the Armenian Church gets its roots from this ancient temple, whose construction was connected to the name of Queen Mary, the representative of the Armenian Dynasty - Bagratuni. Within this area, you will also see several Khachkars - the pearl of Armenian architecture. Khachkar, meaning stone cross, as the name suggests, is an intricately carved stone cross that is a unique element of Armenian culture and is not found in any other Caucasus region. Armenian Khachkars are unique, in that they are found at many ancient establishments, but their ornaments are never the same, and always have a distinct handwriting. Due to its amazing craftsmanship, it has also been included in the UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
Arrive in Tsaghkadzor, and overnight stay at Marriott Hotel.
