Hegra UNESCO world heritage site & Elephant rock tour

After an early Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Winter Park meeting point for Hegra tour Hegra to experience Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you’ll explore over 110 remarkably well-preserved tombs set in a desert landscape, while learning about the ancient people and culture of AlUla. Evidence for human presence and use of the site dates back beyond the 1st millennium BCE, but it was the location of the Nabataean city from the end of the 1st millennium BCE into the 1st millennium CE. The city was at its peak from the late 2nd century BCE to the 2nd century CE. Later you will be transferred to the hotel.

In the evening proceed to see Elephant rock. Unlike the ornate, hand-carved facades of nearby Hegra’s Nabatean tombs, the "trunk" and "body" of this monolithic red sandstone beast were shaped by natural forces — millions of years of wind and water erosion. This iconic geological marvel is a wonder to see in the daylight or at nighttime. As the sun sets, colours dance in the sky and this epic elephant turns a magnificent shade of red. Capture the perfect picture or stay for late-night stargazing.

Later Return to the Resort. Overnight at Hotel in AlUla.

Old town & Dadan & Jabal Ikmah tour

Breakfast at the Resort. 10:30 Transfer to Winter Park meeting point from where we proceed to old town tour. AlUla Old Town is in the narrowest part of the AlUla Valley. With nearly 900 houses, 400 shops and 5 town squares, the old town of AlUla still contains Remnants of some of the original stone and mud brick buildings constructed there. After the tour explore time at the Old Town boulevard and AL Jadida to experience the Old Town.

Later we proceed to another masterpiece in AlUla Dadan & Ikmah. Our first stop here will be Dadan, the ancient kingdom of the Lihyanite and DadanIte civilizations. Next, take a 10 minute drive to Jabal Ikmah situated in a stunning desert canyon. Later transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel in AlUla. Today’s meal inclusion – Breakfast and Dinner.

Full day Khaybar Tour

Today after your hearty breakfast we proceed to Khaybar city. Khaybar is an oasis situated some 217 kilometers from Alula, the area had been inhabited by Arabian Jewish tribes until it fell to Muslim armies under Muhammad during the Battle of Khaybar in 628 CE.

Start our tour from Al Rawan Viewpoint. discover the interactive displays and grab an audio guide. Walk to key spots around the viewpoint, learning about the history of Khaybar along the way. Later Self explores around the oasis, on foot or by bicycle. Stop for lunch at Tayka, an elegant heritage restaurant serving traditional Saudi dishes with a contemporary twist. post lunch, you can opt to discover Khaybar from above on a helicopter or hot air balloon ride.

Later you will be transferred back to alula, overnight in AlUla.

Optional Activities:

• Helicopter Tours (excluding Tuesdays): Hourly flights between 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
• Hot Air Balloons: Flights every 15 minutes between 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm.

Full day Tayma Tour

Today after Scrumptious breakfast and proceed for the Tayma Tour.

Tayma is a large oasis with a long history of settlement, located in northwestern Saudi Arabia at the point where the trade route between Medina and Dumah begins to cross the Nefud desert.

Start the tour with a visit to the Ancient Temple of Salm. Discover the interactive displays and grab an audio guide. Walk down a stone path to a viewpoint overlooking what once was a large salt lake and see the well-preserved ruins of The Ancient Temple of Salm. Our next visit will be to the ancient well of Bir Haddaj. Walk through the narrow pathway of Souq AlNajm, stopping at the 300-year-old gateway of the souq. Explore the summer and winter mosques, the Sheikh’s Majlis, and more in Qasr Ibn Rumman. Later explore around the oasis, on foot or by bicycle. Have lunch at Mirzam, serving Saudi favorites with a contemporary twist. Or grab a coffee or fresh juice from one of the local coffee shops and stalls around Bir Hadaj.

Later you will be transferred back to AlUla, overnight in AlUla.
