|
Tbilisi city and Mtskheta tour

Old Tbilisi city tour . Tour will start with a few unforgettable hours of familiarization with the capital. All the places of interest are very close to each other, within a few minutes’ walk. Start our excursion from the Metekhi (13th century) plateau, you can avoid entering into the church and just discover the view of Old Tbilisi and the river “Mtkvari”. Then with a cable car go up to Narikala Fortress (4th century) which dominates the skyline of the Old Town. Continue to explore brick-domed underground sulphur baths (17th century) – the district of naturally hot mineral waters. We will not enter inside and just will discover the history of it (however our guide can help you to book and during your free time visit the sulphur bathes to relax and pay on the spot – approximate rate 16 – 25 $ per person). Continue the way to Leghvtakhevi waterfall. Visiting Synagogue and taking a stroll on Shardeen Street full of different cafes. Visiting Peace Bridge which will take you to Rike Park.
Transfer to Mtskheta. Mskheta tour. Along the way we will stop to visit Jvari Monastery (6th century). This well-known monastery is located on the top of the mountain, at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Then head to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) which is known as a place where Christ’s robe was buried. Walk along the narrow streets of Mtskheta with souvenir shopping possibility. Guests can have boat trip where two rivers Aragvi & Mtkvari are gathering to each other (for an extra cost – 8 – 10 $ per person).
Back to the hotel.

Tour to Kazbegi

Kazbegi tour. On the way to Gudauri stop at Ananuri architectural complex (17th century) built by the Dukes of Aragvi famous for its significant and impressive location as it offers some awesome views over the surrounding mountains and reservoir on the Aragvi River. Drive to Kazbegi – main town in this region. From the Center of Kazbegi start 4x4 drive through beautiful valleys and woodland that leads us to Gergeti Holy Trinity church (14th century), stunningly located on a hilltop (2170 m.) both overlooking the surrounding snowy peaks of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Here we will enjoy unique nature with beautiful panoramic views of Caucasus, including mount Kazbegi (5047m). Back to Tbilisi.

Tour to Kakheti
Breakfast at the hotel
Transfer to Kakheti (2 hour drive).
On the way stop to wine cellar for wine tasting.
Continue the way to Signaghi –visiting the main sightseeings of the city including “Signaghi wall”.
Free time for lunch (on their own expenses).
Guests will participate in culinary activities: Georgian bread baking and traditional sweet Churchkhela making
Visiting Bodbe.
Back to Tbilisi.

Transfer to Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Georgia & Armenia boarder.
Meeting the boarder formalities and transfer to Yerevan.
On the way you will visit:
SEVANAVANK - set on a narrow peninsula, the Sevanavank Monastery has 2 stone churches to the 9th century.
TSAGHKADZOR CITY - a spa town and urban municipal community, as well as one of the popular health resorts in Armenia.
TSAGHKADZOR ROPEWAY - the arm chaired ropeway with 5 stations will take you to the top of the mountains to admire the breath-taking view.
KECHARIS MONASTERY - a medieval Armenian monastic complex dating back to the 11th and 13th centuries.

Yerevan city tour

During the tour you will visit:
MOTHER ARMENIA – a statue symbolises peace through strength, located in Victory Park.
GENOCIDE COMPLEX - Armenia’s official memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide built in 1967 on the hill of Tsitsernakaberd.
CASCADE - a giant stairway in the capital city which links downtown Kentron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighbourhood.
OPERA HOUSE- deigned by the Armenian architect Alexander Tamanyan.
REPUBLIC SQUARE- awaits you next. The Square is famous for the dancing water fountains located at the north-eastern end along the National Gallery.
VERNISSAGE- If you are looking for some shopping during your holiday to Armenia, Vernissage (open only on weekends) is the place to be.

GARNI GEGHARD 10 am-3 pm

During the tour you will visit:
CHARENTS ARCH – located on the road to Garni and is used as a spectacular place to view Mt. Ararat and valley.
GARNI PAGAN TEMPLE - widely considered the country’s most important symbol of pre-Christian Armenia and admire the classical Hellenistic architecture you find.
GEGHARD MONASTERY - unique caved temple, the name of which means “holy spear” in the honor of the long-preserved spear, the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Christ.
STONE OF SYMPHONY – basalt column formations along the cliff side.
