Day1 |
Arrival- Kovalam
Arrive at the Trivandrum International Airport in Thiruvananthapuram and meet our representative to transfer to Kovalam by road. Kovalam is a beach town along the coast of the Arabian Sea in the south of Thiruvananthapuram city and only a 20-minute drive from the airport. Check-in at the hotel and explore the city on your own before trying out some of those tasty local dishes for dinner. |

Trivandrum city tour
Relish an appetising breakfast and set off for a half-day guided city tour of Trivandrum, or as it is locally known, Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. This city is distinguished by its many art galleries and British colonial architecture. We take you to visit the Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum. This Indo-Saracenic structure boasts of a natural air-conditioning system, and houses a rare collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, including bronze statues, ancient ornaments, and ivory carvings. Located near the Museum, the Shree Chitra Kala Art Gallery displays select paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Svetlova, and Nicholas Roerich, along with exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal, and Tanjore Schools of Art. We then move on to visit the Kuthiramalika Palace which was built by the King of Travancore (Travancore- an Indian kingdom from 1729 until 1949). The palace museum displays paintings and various priceless collections of the royal family. In the evening, cruise through a few local markets to soak in the city ambience on your own. Also, do try out local eateries and the yummy banana chips before returning to your hotel in Kovalam. |

Day at leisure in Kovalam
Enjoy your delicious breakfast buffet and explore the beaches and lighthouses in Kovalam, internationally famed for palm-fringed beaches and rejuvenating centres, on your own. This coastal town is widely known for Halcyon Castle- built as a summer retreat for the last Maharani of Travancore, Sethu Lakshmi Bayi. Kovalam has a long coastline, formed by three beautiful beaches - Lighthouse, Hawah, and Samudra. Alternatively, try out a certified Ayurveda treatment for recuperating. Return to hotel. |

Departure
After a hearty breakfast, check-out of the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum International Airport. Board your flight to return home with beautiful memories of your trip. Bon voyage! |

Cancellation policy
*In the event of a cancellation, 10% of the holiday amount is non-refundable. Refunds will be based on how many days prior to your booked departure we receive your cancellation notice, with the charges increasing closer to your departure date. If the cancellation is received prior to 45 days or more of departure, full price of the non-refundable tickets will be deducted; 44 - 31 days prior to departure, 25% of the total amount will be deducted; if the holiday is cancelled 30 - 15 days prior to departure 50% of the total amount will be deducted; if the trip is cancelled 14 - 10 days prior to departure, 75% of the total amount will be deducted; and if the trip is cancelled 10 days prior to departure, 100% of the total amount will be deducted. In case of any non-refundable tickets, the entire amount of the ticket is deducted.
