Who's excited for the Wimbledon Championships this year? The Wimbledon Championships is the world's oldest tennis tournament and usually takes place over the last 2 weeks of June. Wimbledon is a region located southwest of London, England. Wimbledon is divided into two areas: residential and retail. The residential area used to be a medieval village and after its reconstruction became known as The High Street. Wimbledon’s town area, on the other hand, was developed progressively in 1838 after the railway station was built. Besides the tennis tournament, there are so many things to do and look forward to in Wimbledon!
