Established in 1986, Sichuan Airlines Co. Ltd is the regional airline of China. The airline has its hub at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in Chengdu, Sichuan. Sichuan Airlines operates domestic and international flights from Chengdu airport and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. In 2002, the airline reorganized and Sichuan group became the largest shareholder. The fleet
The airline has a huge fleet size of 109 planes and includes a wide variety of Airbus aircrafts. Sichuan Airlines has 23 Airbus A319-100, 48 Airbus A320-200, and 30 Airbus A321-200. Besides these, it also has 4 each of A330-200 and A330-300. The airline has placed orders for 16 new Airbus A320-200, 20 Comac C919, and 2 Xian MA60.
Destinations
The airline provides 67 domestic and international destinations. The airline also has a codeshare agreement with 4 airlines - Chine Eastern Airlines, China Express Airlines, China Southern Airlines and TransAsia Airways. The airline started its long-haul flights in 2012 to Canada. The second long-haul flight flew to Australia in 2013. Recently in 2016, the airline provided long-haul services to the USA as well.
Business Class
